These outstanding young scholars were chosen by Wayne Elementary staff for demonstrating remarkable growth and dedication in their classrooms.
This recognition program, sponsored by the Portland Sea Dogs and NextGen 529, honors students' hard work and progress. As part of this special recognition, our selected students will each receive a complimentary ticket to a Portland Sea Dogs game, where they'll be celebrated in a pre-game ceremony, have their names displayed on the outfield scoreboard, and receive official certificates.
We're incredibly proud of their commitment to learning and personal growth. These well-deserved honors highlight the importance of persistence and effort - qualities that will continue to serve them well throughout their educational journeys. Students recognized for the 24/25 school year are: Carter Clum, Sam Andreasen, Steson Cobb, Alex Perreault, Amelia Emery, Sage Pokorny-Ravenwolf, Micah Wittemore, Elana Demmings, Philip King, and Caden Demmings.
