The Cinderella Project of Maine is investing in the wellbeing of young people in Maine, helping them thrive, and giving them the support they need to excel. The Cinderella Project inspires giving, develops self esteem, and encourages paying it forward. We create excitement around an amazing new-to-you prom dress, while demonstrating financial responsibility to our high school students.
The gowns are given away to any Maine high school student who wants one - all totally free with one stipulation - we ask the recipients to “pay it forward” and do a good deed for someone else. The Cinderella Project of Maine is an inclusive event: any Maine high school students who would like to wear a dress to prom is welcome.
The Gardiner giveaway will be SUNDAY, April 2nd, 2023 at Gardiner Area High School in Gardiner from 10am-1pm. There is absolutely no cost for any of the dresses or accessories. Dressing rooms will be available to try on some of our 1000+ gowns, and Cinderella Project Fairy Godmothers will be on hand to assist with the selection process.
