There was police presence for a brief period of time on the Maranacook campus late this afternoon. We followed all directions from law enforcement. This event had nothing to with the school or our students. Police arrived at the campus unannounced. All students on campus for after school activities were safe. Date correction from previous message - Thursday, February 27th will be the Remote Learning/Blizzard Bag Day.
Due to the expected poor weather all RSU 38 schools will be closed Thursday, February 26. Instead we will be having a Remote Learning/Blizzard Bag Day. Our teachers have prepared for this day and students have what they need. I am excited by this innovative solution to storm days and hope everyone will work to give their best effort. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Because of the snow day we have moved our 8th grade parent night to Tuesday 2/25 from 6-7. Pizza will be provided.
We will start with a brief information session in the student center. After that, we will move into the gym for the Freshmen Fair! In the gym you will be able to visit tables with representatives from all our academic departments, student senate, dual enrollment and more. Tours of the school will also be provided by current students!
We are so excited to meet our incoming Freshmen and we are looking forward to welcoming all of you to the high school community!

Due to weather conditions RSU38 - Maranacook Area School will have a 2 hour delay today Monday February 10, 2020. Morning and afternoon pre-kindergarten classes are canceled for the day.
Due to the icy roads and weather conditions all RSU 38 Maranacook Area schools will be closed Friday, February 7.
All schools will be closed today, Thursday January 16 due to the winter storm.
