RE: Readfield Elementary Update
Dear Staff, Students, and Families,
This letter is to update the status of Readfield Elementary School as we head into the school week beginning Monday, November 8, 2021. On Thursday we had 1 positive student case that required contact tracing and 2 positive staff members also requiring contact tracing. At this point contact tracing is complete. However, cases at Readfield Elementary continue to be a source of great concern and staffing is proving to be extremely challenging. The decision has been made to continue remote learning for Readfield Elementary School through Friday, November 12, 2021. Please see the following schedule for Readfield Elementary for next week::
Monday, Nov. 8 - full day remote learning
Tuesday, Nov. 9 - full day remote learning
Wednesday, Nov. 10 - (half day) morning remote learning, (early release) afternoon teacher workshop
Thursday, Nov. 11 - Veterans Day no school
Friday, Nov. 12 - full day remote learning
If your child shows any symptoms please communicate with the Readfield Elementary Nurse and your health care provider. It is important the school be aware of illness to support you and it will help get back to in-person as quickly as possible.
